In Year 1 at Wyvil we aim to provide a rich, varied and fun curriculum covering a range of topics of interest to the children, including:

  • Empathy
  • Telling the time
  • Light and Dark
  • Experimenting with different media and self portrait
  • Awareness of space, Travelling in different ways
  • Rhythmic activities
  • Use of Microsoft Word and other ICT programs

This year, we led the school Harvest Festival production.  You can see pictures on the gallery page. We plan to go on a number of trips this year and so far, as part of our History topic around toys from the past and today, our classes have visited the V&A Museum of Childhood.
