Year 3 is the first year of Key Stage 2.  There is an emphasis on securing basic skills combined with creative learning of a variety of interesting topics such as Life in the Stone Age and Light and Shadows.  Many of these involve an educational trips outside of the school. Year 3 children also lead the Diwali performance for the school in the Autumn term. Their playtimes are now located in the back playground with the 'big' children.
