Kebab Workshop

As part of their ‘food’ topic this term Year 1 invited parents and carers to come in to school and take part in a fruit kebab workshop. There was an array of tasty fruits on offer including: sumptuous strawberries; appetising apples and perfectly ripe pineapples. As well as creating a healthy delicious snack to share with their families the children used their maths skills to create repeating fruit patterns on their kebab sticks.
