Applying after the deadline
If you apply after 31 October 2022, your application will be treated as a 'late application'. This means that:
- your preferences will be considered after all of the preferences received on time have been allocated
- the likelihood of gaining a place at your preferred school may be significantly reduced.
Children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), you'll need to apply for a school place in a different way.
Applying for a school place using the e-admissions portal when your child has an EHCP will not be valid and your child may miss out on a school place.

If you don't live in Lambeth
If you live in a different borough but want to send your child to a school in Lambeth, please view the information on your home council's website and apply using their Common Application Form.
National Offer Day
Secondary National Offer Day - Wednesday 1st March 2023
If you applied for your child's secondary school place before the deadline of 31 October 2022 online, you will receive an email in the evening of 1 March asking you to log in to your child’s online application to view the outcome. Alternatively you can log in to the eadmissions portal to access the outcome. You will need accept the offer by 15th March 2023 to secure it.
if you applied using a paper Common Application Form an outcome letter be posted to you on 1 March with a reply form to be returned by the same date.
